Favourite Clipboard

Your recent copies and your saved snippets, one shortcut away. ⌘⌥V opens the panel on Clip History, and Tab switches to Favourite Clips and back. You can also open it from the ExperimentC menu bar item, Open Clip History, with no shortcut involved.

Using the panel

type anythingFilter the list. It matches anywhere in the text and ignores case.
Move the selection.
Paste the selected row.
⌃1⌃9Paste a row straight off its number. Numbers follow what is on screen, so they stay correct while you filter.
TabSwitch between Clip History and Favourite Clips.
⌘FMove the selected history row into your favourites. Clip History only.
⌘DDelete the selected row.
Close the panel.
Pasting replaces your clipboard. The text goes onto your clipboard and then into the app you were in, so whatever was on your clipboard before is gone.

If the network is down

Everything still works. Your changes are saved locally, the app shows a small notice ("Couldn't sync to the server. Your changes are saved locally and will retry on the next edit."), and it retries on your next edit. If it cannot reach the server while loading, it shows your local copy.
